Coroners Finding for Inquest into the Death of Phoebe Handsjuk

December 10, 2014 by Natalie 2 Comments

Coroner Peter White handed down his findings this morning and has concluded that Phoebe’s death was an accident. Coroner White concluded that under the influence of Stilnox and alcohol, Phoebe climbed into the 12th floor garbage chute while in a deeply confused and disoriented state, unaware of the danger to her life. Sustaining minor external injuries from the fall, she later died from a severe injury caused by the compactor on the ground floor. The Coroner’s finding ruled out suicide or the possibility of third party involvement.
